PETIT BATEAU QUALITY
All Petit Bateau garments have been designed and produced so that everyone can feel comfortable in their clothes, with freedom of movement. From the quality of the yarns to the finished product, each stage is rigorously monitored. A Petit Bateau product is literally tested stitch by stitch before leaving our workshops!
Knitted fabric is immersed in a dye bath for 6 to 12 hours. Up to 30 shades are developed each season to add to the 2,300 that have already been created. Our colours are specifically designed to withstand washing. A Petit Bateau garment does not run!
Cotton piqué comes from the French for ‘pricked’, as it appears to have been pricked with a needle. This soft material with excellent shape retention is crease resistant. Perfect for a casual chic look!
All our seams are made using 5 stitches per centimetre, making them hard-wearing and stretchy. Petit Bateau is durable!
